Harry Vanda is an Australian musician, songwriter, and record producer who has a net worth of $50 million. Harry Vanda was born in The Hague, Netherlands in March 1946. He is best known for being a member of the Australian rock band The Easybeats. He was a guitarist with the band The Starfighters.

The Easybeats formed in Sydney in 1964 and disbanded in 1969. They are known as the greatest Australian pop band of the 1960s and were looked at as Australia’s answer to the Beatles. Their debut studio album Easy was released in 1965 and reached #4 in Australia. The Easybeats had #1 singles in Australia with the songs “Easyfever”, “Sorry”, and “Friday On My Mind”. After The Easybeats, Vanda formed Vanda & Young with George Young. The pair wrote songs for David Bowie, INXS, Stevie Wright, Pat Travers Band, Rod Stewart, John Paul Young, Bay City Rollers, Flash and the Pan, and Meat Loaf. Vanda and Young were inducted into the inaugural class of the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1988.
