Bill Dance is an American professional fisherman, television host, and author who has a net worth of $4 million. Bill Dance was born in Lynchburg, Tennessee in October 1940. He is best known for hosting the NBC Sports television series Bill Dance Outdoors and the Outdoor Channel TV series Bill Dance Saltwater.

 Dance competed in bass tournaments and his television series started airing on an ABC affiliate in Memphis, TN in 1968. His signature look is wearing sunglasses and a Tennessee Volunteers baseball cap after Bill received his first Tennessee cap from the team’s coach Doug Dickey. Dance is also known for his YouTube outtakes from the show. He started the company Th3 Legends with Roland Martin and Jimmy Houston. Dance is a member of the International Game Fish Association’s Hall of Fame and was inducted into the National Freshwater Hall of Fame in 1986. He won the Congressional National Water Safety Award in 1978 and was the B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year three times. Dance has won 23 National Bass Fishing titles as well as seven B.A.S.S. titles.
