United from 2003 until 2006, scoring twenty goals over 81 games. He was a player for Toronto FC and Real Salt Lake in 2007. Eskandarian was a player with Chivas USA from 2008 to 2009, also for Chivas USA from 2008 to 2009 and for the Los Angeles Galaxy from 2009 until 2010. He also played for the United States national team at the senior and under-20 levels. Eskandarian was appointed an assistant coach of the New York Cosmos in 2013 and has since been the coach of New York Cosmos B. As a player, he won his first MLS Cup and the MLS Cup MVP award in 2004.
