Deshaun Watson is an American professional football player who has a net worth of $60 million. After playing college football for Clemson, he joined the NFL in 2017 when he was drafted by the Houston Texans.
Deshaun Watson was born in Gainesville, Georgia in September 1995. He is a quarterback who played at Gainesville High School and was a USA Today High School All-American. Watson played college football at Clemson where he was a consensus All-American, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and ACC Player of the Year in 2015.
In 2016 Clemson won the college football playoff national championship and won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and the ACC Athlete of the Year and in 2017 he won the Best Male College Athlete ESPY Award. Deshaun Watson was a two-time Dave O’Brien Award winner and a two time Manning Award winner.

Contracts
In 2017 Deshaun Watson signed a four year $13.84 million deal that came with an $8.21 million signing bonus. In September 2020 he signed a four year $156 million extension that came with a $27 million signing bonus and worked out to $39 million per year on average.
On March 18, 2022 it was revealed that Watson had signed a 5-year $230 million contract with the Cleveland Browns that came with a $45 million signing bonus. The $230 million contract is fully guaranteed and breaks down to $46 million in per-season salary.
Sexual Assault Allegations
In March 2021, a Houston massage therapist filed a civil lawsuit against Watson in which she claimed he touched her with the tip of his erect penis and asked for sex during a treatment a year prior. More than 20 additional civil complaints and lawsuits followed by April 2021. A separate group of around 20 massage therapists also came to his defense. Watson’s lawyer claimed the allegations were an attempt at blackmail.
On April 7, 2021 Nike suspended its endorsement with Watson. Apple’s Beats by Dre brand terminated its deal with him around the same time.
