Wang Wenxue is a Chinese businessman who has a net worth of $2.3 billion. Wang Wenxue rose to riches as the Chairman of the listed China Fortune Land Development of Beijing, a developer of industrial parks which has invested in the construction of 17 parks in China so far.
Similar to fellow Chinese billionaire Xiong Xuqiang, Wenxue inserted his real estate company in another already-listed enterprise and then renamed it. China Fortune Land was initially called Zhejiang King Refrigeration Industry. He made his debut on the billionaires’ list in 2013 after China Fortune Land’s first-half revenue almost doubled from a year earlier to $1.4 billion, boosting profits by 40% to $289 million. Of late, Fortune Land reached a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Aerospace Science and Technology to co-develop an Aerospace Technology Industrial Park in Guan, Hebei province. The project also includes a film and media business park in the area.
