His third solo album Tear Gas in 2009 reached #93 on the Billboard Chart. His 2011 album Flight Risk reached #70 on the US R&B charts. His latest album What Happened To The World was released in 2014. He also released mixtapes and appeared on many collaborations. He also owned his own record label called The Artist Records. The Jacka was fatally shot on February 2, 2015 at the age of 37 while rapping with his friends in Oakland, California.
