Steven Hauschka is an American football placekicker with the Seattle Seahawks who has an estimated net worth of $3.5 million. Steven Hauschka was born in 1985 in Needham, Massachusetts where he played soccer and lacrosse at Needham High School. He didn’t play high school football. Steven Hauschka went to Middlebury College where he planned to play Division III soccer but was cut from the team during his freshman year.

He was encouraged to try out for the football team and in three seasons he was a two time All-NESCAC selection and holds the school’s single-season and career records for field goals. Steven Hauschka also played lacrosse at Middlebury. After graduating, Hauschka went to North Carolina State for graduate school. With one year of eligibility remaining, he joined the Wolfpack football team and went 25 for 25 on extra points and 16 for 18 on field goals. Steven Hauschka was an undrafted free agent in 2008 and was eventually signed by the Minnesota Vikings. Steven Hauschka has also played for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos and the UFL’s Las Vegas Locomotives. In September 2011, Steven Hauschka was picked up off waivers by the Seattle Seahawks. In week 10 of that season he tied the Seattle record for most field goals in a game with five.
