Shaun Ellis is a former American professional football player who has a net worth of $13 million. Born in 1977 in Anderson, South Carolina, Shaun Ellis, who has earned the nickname Big Katt, played college football at the University of Tennessee. As a Vol, Ellis tallied more than 100 tackles, 12.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and an interception.

He entered the 2000 NFL Draft and the New York Jets chose him with the 12th overall pick. Ellis jumped into the starting rotation as a rookie and made his presence felt. He finished his rookie campaign with 8.5 sacks, the second most by a first year player in Jets history. Ellis played with the Jets until 2010 and was selected to two Pro Bowls, one in 2003 and one in 2009. He was the recipient of the 2010 Ed Block Courage Award. He signed a free agent deal with the New England Patriots in 2011 and appeared in 14 games.
