Scott Cook is an American entrepreneur who has a net worth of $3.6 billion. Scott Cook earned his multi-billion fortune as a co-founder of financial software giant Intuit. Inspired by his wife’s constant complains about paying the bills, Cook teamed up with Tom Proulx, a programmer, to set the basis of Intuit in 1983. Evolving through the years, the company now offers a wide variety of software solutions and online products that help individuals and small enterprises manage their finances.

Intuit went public on the American stock exchange Cook in 1993. A year later Soctt resigned as CEO from day to day operations. He still remains its largest single shareholder.
