Salvador Reyes was a Mexican professional soccer player who had a net worth of $5 million. Salvador Reyes was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in September 1936 and passed away in December 2012. He was a forward who started his senior career for Guadalajara in 1953. He played there until 1967 and scored 122 goals.

Reyes next played for the Los Angeles Toros from 1967 to 1968. He then played for Laguna F.C. and San Luis. With Guadalajara Reyes won seven championships. He also won the campeon de goleo (Goal scorer champion) with Guadalajara. Reyes was also a manager and managed San Luis, Atleticos Campesions, UANL, and Serranos de Teziutlan. Salvador also represented Mexico in international competition from 1956 to 1966 where he scored 14 goals in 49 matches. He played in the FIFA World Cup in 1958, 1962, and 1966. He also served as a mentor for Chivas USA. In 2008 at 71 years old he was honored by the club to make their first kick. Reyes was also honored by Guadalajara in 2008 appearing in a game. Salvador Reyes passed away on December 29, 2012 at the age of 76.
