Rosa Brescia Cafferata Net Worth, Career, Biography, Facts, Age, Life Story

Rosa Brescia Cafferata is a Peruvian billionaire heir who has a net worth of $1.6 billion. Born to affluent father, Fortunato Brescia Tassano, who built a real estate company that capitalized on Lima’s growth, Rosa is one of his children who took their rightful part of his fortune after his death in 1951.

Rosa’s assets were controlled by her husband, Paul Fort, until his death in 2004. Ever since, her son Alex Fort Brescia has managed her funds. The Brescia family has taken over the control of a group of companies know as Grupo Brescia, with interests in a vast number of industries like agriculture, fish products, cement, paint products, explosives, welding, insurance, banking, mining and real estate. Rosa, along with her two sons and three daughters, owns 30% of Grupo Brescia, and thus has joined the narrow list of Peruvian billionaires. One of her sons, Bernardo Fort Brescia, is the man who designed Lima’s tallest building, the Westin Lima Hotel, which is owned by the Grupo Brescia, among numerous other buildings in the US and Peru.
