Oscar Schafer is an American businessman who has a net worth of $500 million. One of the richest Americans today, Mr. Schafer is the Managing Partner of O.S.S Capital Management LP, a private investment partnership that he co-launched in 2001. Long before he turned into a notable Wall Street professional, Schafer took a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Harvard College in 1961, and then received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1964.
By 1970, he joined Steinhardt Partners where he served as an analyst.
