Mike Carroll is an American professional skateboarder who has a net worth of $6 million. Mike Carroll was born in San Francisco, California in August 1975. He the co-founder of Lakai Limited Footwear and the co-founder and vice-president of Girl Skateboards. Carroll helped develop the street skateboarding style in the early 1990s.
He also helped create the subdivision of Girl called Chocolate Skateboards. Carroll was a founding member of the FTC Skate Shop and joined the Plan B team in 1991. He started Girl Skateboards in 1993 and joined the Vans skate shoe team in 1994. He released a signature shoe in 1996 before moving to DC Shoes in 1997. The next year his shoe Cosmo was released and in 1999 he left to start the shoe company Lakai. Carroll is known for skating at the Embarcadero plaza and discovered the landmark 3rd and Army. He has starred in several videos and won the Skater of the Year award from Thrasher Magazine in 1994.
