Born Michael Thomas McCaul, Sr. on January 14, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, he has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 10th congressional district since 2005. Having taken his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University in 1987, McCaul also attended Harvard University and took courses in the Kennedy School of Government.

He went on to work as an attorney and a federal prosecutor before he fully dived into politics.
