Michael Cuddyer is an American professional baseball player who has a net worth of $35 million. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1979, Michael Cuddyer was a standout high school baseball player in his home state, earning Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year honors in 1997. The Minnesota Twins drafted Cuddyer with the ninth overall pick during the first round of the amateur draft in 1997.

He worked his way through the organization’s farm system until making his pro debut on September 23, 2001. Cuddyer went on to play with Minnesota for the next decade, until he landed a three-year, $31.5 million contract with the Colorado Rockies during the winter of 2011.
