He was born Matthew Lon Keough on July 3, 1955 in Pomona, California. Matt was a high school student at the Corona del Mar High School when he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 1973. Five years later, Keough turned pro and pursued a nine-season career, in which he set a 58-84 record with 590 strikeouts and a 4.17 ERA in 1190 innings pitched, along with seven shutouts and 57complete games.
Matt Keough was married to former Playboy Playmate Jeana Tomasino from 1984 to 2007. Jeana was one of the housewives on the reality TV show “The Real Housewives of Orange County”. Matt and their kids also made occasional appearances.
On 15 August 2009, Matt Keough made the headlines for all the wrong reasons as he was arrested for DUI. He was charged with two felonies.
Unfortunately Matt died on May 1, 2020 at the age of 64.
