Mary West is an American businesswoman and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $610 million. Mary West founded WATS Telemarketing with her husband Gary in 1978 in the garage of their home in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple sold WATS in 1980 and founded West TeleServices in 1986.
The company went public in 1996 and it was taken private by equity investors in 2006 when the Wests made $1.4 billion in cash and got to keep a stake in the business.
