She married the late actor Robin Williams in 1989 while she was working as a nanny for Robin’s son Zachary. The couple had two children together including actress Zelda Williams but Marsha filed for divorce in 2008 citing irreconcilable differences. Marsha served as Robin’s assistant in an official capacity for the movies Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, Hook, and Toys. She produced the 1993 movie Mrs. Doubtfire. Marsha was the executive producer of the 1998 film Patch Adams. She produced Jakob the Liar in 1999 and the TV special Robin Williams: Live on Broadway in 2002. She produced the documentary Extinction Soup in 2014.
