Lydia Stirling McLaughlin is an American jewelry designer, magazine editor, heiress and reality TV star who has a net worth of $15 million. Lydia McLaughlin has risen to fame as the newest cast member of the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In addition to being a reality star, Lydia is the creator of LYDIA M Jewelry and the Managing Editor of Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine.

Lydia uses her experience as a world traveler as inspiration for her jewelry line which is 100% manufactured in California and even produces necklaces for dogs called Puppy Bling. Some of her most inspirational travel locations include the Himalayas in India, the Italian Mediterranean Sea, the French countryside and of course her home town Laguna Beach. As if being a full time jewelry designer and magazine editor wasn’t enough, Lydia is also mom and wife. She and husband Doug McLaughlin have two young sons. Lydia and Doug co-own a web design and digital marketing company called SKYLAB Media. They also co-own an art gallery in Laguna Beach called SKYLAB Modern Art. Lydia is the granddaughter of Canadian business mogul Geoff Stirling. Geoff Stirling was born in 1921 and is the founder of Stirling Communications International (SCI) which owns some of Canada’s largest newspapers, magazines, radio stations and television stations. SCI biggest assets are the Newfoundland Herald, Newfoundland Television (NTV) and CHOZ-FM radio. Lydia is 31 years old. She was born in Canada but raised in La Jolla, California. She attended La Jolla High then the University of San Diego.
