Luis Virata is a Filipino businessman who has a net worth of $120 million. One of the richest people in the Philippines today, Luis Virata derives the majority of his fortune from a 13% share in Nickel Asia, the country’s largest nickel mining company run by the Zamora Brothers.
Aside from being Nickel’s major shareholder, he also sits on the board of the company. Furthermore, he is the Chairman and CEO of investment bank CLSA Exchange Capital, as well as a former President and CEO of Philippine Airlines.
