She founded her own Hair and Body care corporation Leanna’s Inc. in Long Island in 2005. It all started out as her grandmother made her own pomade and Leanna got lots of compliments on her locks so she thought it was due to the pomade.
After telling her mom about the idea of selling it as a product she didn’t get the desired response so she brought the pomade to her friends, being sure that they would have the same results as her, and the plan worked.
