Ken Lucas is an American professional football player who has a net worth of $12 million. Born in Cleveland, Mississippi, in 1979, Ken Lucas played college football close to home at Mississippi. He earned All-SEC and All-American honors in 2000, and was Mississippi’s premier kick and punt returner while still playing cornerback.

The Seattle Seahawks drafted him with the 40th overall pick during the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played for the Seahawks from 2001 until 2004, and then joined the Carolina Panthers from 2005 until 2008. He briefly returned to Seattle in 2009 and has been an unrestricted free agent ever since, though, as of the fall of 2014, Lucas has not formally retired from professional football. He co-led the NFC in interceptions during the 2004 season and has racked up more than 500 combined tackles, 86 pass deflections, 25 interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Lucas had close to 300 interception return yards and scored one touchdown. He appeared in 138 career games and made 112 starts. The six-foot, 205-pound corner had one of his best seasons during the 2002 year, garnering national attention for his two interceptions of ex-Falcons’ quarterback Michael Vick. He was also a standout player in 2004.
