Kelcy Warren is an American entrepreneur who has a net worth of $6.4 billion. Born in 1955, Warren serves as the Chairman and CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, a natural gas and propane company. Holding BA of Science in Civil engineering from the University of Texas, he started his career path working for the Lone Star Gas Company.
Then, Warren served on executive positions in different gas companies, like Endevico, Cornerstone Natural Gas, ETP Enogex Partners, La Grange Energy and many more, until 1995, when he launched Energy Transfer Partners, together with his partner, Ray C. Davis. Warren also serves as Chairman of the Board of the general partner of Energy Transfer Equity (ETE). Today, ETE holds more than 71,000 miles of crude oil pipelines and natural gas, and last year, it purchased Southern Union, a pipeline company, for around $5 million. Moreover, Warren is a huge music fan, and in 2007, together with Fred Remmert and Jimmy LaFave, he founded Music Road Records, a recording studio.
