John Heard was an American actor who had a net worth of $3.5 million dollars. John Heard was born in Washington, D.C., and went on to attend Clark University and the Catholic University of America. He began his professional acting career in the theater, and then moved to film projects in the mid-70s.

He began adding television credits to his resume a few years later. Over the course of a very prolific career, he has appeared in such film and television projects as “Valley Forge”, “Between the Lines”, “Rush It”, “The Scarlet Letter”, “C.H.U.D.”, “Kate and Allie”, “Tales from the Darkside”, “The Trip to Bountiful”, “Miami Vice”, “The Milagro Beanfield War”, “The Equalizer”, “Beaches”, “Mindwalk”, “Awakenings”, “In the Line of Fire”, “The Outer Limits”, “The Client”, “Law & Order”, “Hack”, “CSI: Miami”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Prison Break”, “My Own Worst Enemy”, “Gravity”, “Perception”, and “Person of Interest”. He had a memorably guest starring role on several episodes of The Sopranos. He received critical acclaim for his work on The Sopranos. He is most widely recognized for his work in “Big”, and as the father in the “Home Alone” movies. In recent years he appeared in TV shows such as Sharknado the MacGyver  reboot Elementary. Unfortunately, John Heard died on July 21, 2017 at the age of 72. John had recently undergone a minor surgery at Stanford Medical Center. He was found by a hotel maid at his Palo Alto hotel room. John was married three times and is survived by three children.
