John Dunsworth was a Canadian actor who had a net worth of $500 thousand dollars. John Dunsworth was born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada in April 1946. Dunsworth is best known for playing the role of Jim Lahey on the TV series Trailer Park Boys. John was the second of ten children and his daughter Sarah appears on Trailer Park Boys.
He was the star of the 1988 video documentary short John Dunsworth: The Candidate in which he was trying to win support for his political campaign. He worked in radio dramas and on stage at the Neptune Theatre in Halifax. His first role came in the 1978 short So Long to Run. From 1999 to 2000 Dunsworth starred in the TV series Pit Pony. From 1997 to 2002 he had recurring roles in the series Lexx. In 2013 he starred as Prelate in the TV series Forgive Me. Since 2010 he has starred as Dave Teagues in the TV series Haven and since 2001 he has starred as Jim Lahey in the series Trailer Park Boys. Dunsworth won a Gemini Award in 2005 for Trailer Park Boys and an ACTRA Maritimes Award in 2013 for Forgive Me. Unfortunately, John Dunsworth died on October 16, 2017 at the age of 71.
