Jessica Hart is a British writer who has a net worth of $10 million dollars. To date, she has penned more than 55 romance novels for the company Mills & Boon, for which she has won a US-based RITA Award (for Christmas Eve Marriage in 2005), and the British RoNA Award (for Contracted: Corporate Wife in 2006).

Hart was born in Ghana, Africa, where she also spent much of her childhood. In college, she attended the University of Edinburgh, in Scotland, where her mother still maintains a permanent residence. Hart is considered to be particularly well-traveled, having gone to Australia, India, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Algeria, Afghanistan, among others. These diverse locations also serve as the backdrops of many of her books. Today, Hart keeps a main residence in York, England, while continuing to travel. While many of her books can be considered single pieces, she is also well known for many of her romantic series pieces, including Outback Brides, the City Bride Series, and Princess Swap.
