Jerry Glanville is an American sportscaster, former professional football coach, and former NASCAR driver and owner who has a net worth of $10 million. Jerry Glanville was born in Perrysburg, Ohio in October 1941. As a football player Glanville was a linebacker who played at Northern Michigan University.

He coaching career started as a defensive coordinator at Western Kentucky in 1967. Glanville became a defensive end and outside linebackers coach at Georgia Tech from 1968 to 1973. His first NFL coaching job came as a defensive assistant and special teams coach with the Detroit Lions from 1974 to 1976. Glanville was a defensive backs coach with the Atlanta Falcons from 1977 to 1978 and their defensive coordinator from 1979 to 1982. In 1993 he was the Buffalo Bills defensive backs coach. Glanville was defensive coordinator for the Houston Oilers from 1986 to 1989 and was their head coach from 1990 to 1993. He was the defensive coordinator at Hawaii from 2005 to 2006 and the head coach at Portland State from 2007 to 2009. As an analyst he has worked for HBO’s Inside the NFL, CBS’s The NFL Today, the NFL on CBS, and the NFL on Fox. Glanville raced on the Automobile Racing Club of American circuit.
