Jeff Macke is an American financial journalist, former hedge fund manager, and cable/web news anchor who has a net worth of $25 million dollars. Jeff Macke was born on April 7th, 1969 in Edina, Minnesota where he graduated from Edina High School in Minnesota in 1987. He attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he earned a bachelor’s in psychology in 1991.

From there, Macke went on to get his MBA from Stanford University in 1997. Macke is best known for his appearance in “Fast Money” on CNBC. Macke’s resumé includes working for Senn-Delaney a leading retail culture consultant firm, being an analyst for Palo-Alto investors, developing a training program for Sears, running two hedge funds- including the hedge fund Buckshot Capital, hosting the cable show Fast Money from 2006-2007, blogging, hosting, writing, and contributing to both Yahoo! Finance’s blog Breakout and Minyanville, being the founder and president of Macke Asset Management, co-founding the investment partnership Macke Partners, and finally residing as a Board of Director for Duckwall-Alco. He also runs Buckshot Capital, a hedge fund. For the last ten years, he has been a professional investor and ran a successful hedge fund between 1999 and 2004.
