Born on December 10, 1954 in Worcester, Massachusetts, he began investing in properties while he was still attending business school. Changing jobs in order to put himself through college, Green graduated in only three years gaining a BA in Economics and Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, and later, he got his MBA from Harvard University. Governed by his mother’s motto “save your pennies, look for value, and never pay retail”, Greene, who once was U.S. Senate candidate of the Democratic Party, has managed to raise the number of the properties he owns mainly in Palm Beach. Currently, he holds about 1150 units in Palm Beach, over 3500 apartments in Los Angeles, and three buildings in Manhattan.
