James William Guercio is an American music producer, musician, and songwriter who has a net worth of $50 million. James William Guercio was born in Chicago, Illinois in July 1945. He is known for producing the band Chicago’s early albums and worked as producer and director in the film industry.

Guercio was the manager of the Beach Boys during the mid-1970s and was also a member of their backing band. He produced, directed, and composed for the film Electra Glide in Blue in 1973 and produced the film Second-Hand Hearts in 1981. He produced several albums for the band The Buckinghams and also for the group Blood Sweat & Tears. Guercio was a staff producer for Columbia Records and worked on Frank Zappa’s debut album Freak Out!. He purchased the Country Music Television channel in the late 1980s and sold it years later to Westinghouse Broadcasting.
