James Carpenter Net Worth, Career, Biography, Facts, Age, Life Story

James Carpenter is an American football player who has a net worth of $9.6 Million. He plays the offensive lineman position. James Carpenter was born on March 22, 1989 in Augusta Georgia. Coming out of high school, he was a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com. He committed to Iowa State before he made an official visit, but due to academic struggles, the Cyclones placed him at Coffeyville Community College.

Carpenter spent two seasons at Coffeyville, and improved enough that Scout.com and Rivals.com ranked him as a four-star recruit. He started every game for the Red Ravens and earned All-Conference honors both seasons. He also made the NJCAA All-American first team in 2008. Carpenter still remained an Iowa State signee, but visited other schools and eventually committed to Alabama. After two solid seasons for the Crimson Tide (as well as good post-season play), Carpenter’s stock rose greatly, and he was taken by the Seattle Seahawks with the 25th pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he started nine games before suffering an ACL injury that ended his season. The injury limited him to just seven games in 2012, all of which he started. In 2013, he appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks, starting in 10 of them.
