Guthrie Govan is an English guitarist and instructor who has a net worth of $6 million. Guthrie Govan was born in Chelmsford, Essex, England in December 1971. He is best known for playing with the bands The Aristocrats, Asia, The Young Punx, GPS, The Fellowship, Erotic Cakes, Hans Zimmer, and Steven Wilson.

Govan taught at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and instructs through the magazine Guitar Techniques. In 1993 he won the Guitarist of the Year competition from Guitarist magazine.
