Gosho Aoyama is a Japanese manga artist who has a net worth of $50 million. Gosho Aoyama was born in Hokuel, Tottori, Japan in June 1963. He is best known for creating the manga series Detective Conan which is known as Case Closed in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

Aoyama’s manga series have sold 200 million copies across the world. He is also known for the manga series Magic Kaito since 1987, Yaiba from 1988 to 1993, 3rd Base 4th from 1991 to 1993, and more. Aoyama created the Detective Conan series in 1994. He took to drawing at an early age and won a painting competition in first grade of elementary school. He studied at the Nihon University College of Art in Tokyo and then started his manga career with Chotto Mattete which was published in the magazine Shonen Sunday in 1987. He has won several awards including the Shogakukan Manga Award in 1992.
