She won gold medals in the 100 meters at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and 1996 Atlanta Olympics and also won a gold medal in the 4×100 meter relay at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Devers won gold medals at the World Championships for 100 m and 100 m hurdles in 1993, 100 m hurdles in 1995, 4×100 m relay in 1997, and 100 m hurdles in 1999. She also won four gold medals at the World Indoor Championships and two more gold medals at the Pan American Games. She has also been inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and received the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award.
