It was in 1994 that Francis and his wife Lisa started Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley. In addition, Chan is both the founder and Chancellor of the Eternity Bible. His first book is titled, Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God, and his second, Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit, both being released in 2009. One year later, he saw the release of the Basic Series by Francis Chan, a DVD series that started in 2010. What’s more, he has been a generous contributor to charities as a member of the board of directors of Children’s Hunger Fund and World Impact.
