Eric blazed his own trail as a solo artist shortly afterward, signing to Warner Bros. and releasing his debut album True to Myself in the fall of 1996. On July 31, 2011, he married Prince’s ex-wife, Manuela Testolini, who gave birth to their first child, a baby girl they named Lucia Bella, in December 21, 2011.
