Eddie Jordan is an American basketball coach and former professional basketball player who has a net worth of $8 million. Eddie Jordan was born in Washington, D.C. in January 1955. He was a 6’1″ shooting guard who played at Archbishop Carroll High School. Jordan played his college basketball at Rutgers University where he was named East Regional MVP in the 1976 NCAA Final Four.

He was drafted #33 by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1977 NBA Draft. Jordan played for the Cavs in 1977 and then for the New Jersey Nets from 1977 to 1980 and the Los Angeles Lakers from 1980 to 1983. He played for the Portland Trail Blazers and Lakers in 1984. As a coach Jordan started as an assistant at Boston College from 1986 to 1988. He was an assistant coach at Rutgers from 1988 to 1991 and then was an assistant for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings from 1992 to 1997. Jordan was the head coach of the Kings from 1997 to 1988. He was an assistant coach for the New Jersey Nets from 1999 to 2003. Jordan was head coach of the Washington Wizards from 2003 to 2008 and of the Philadelphia 76ers from 2009 to 2010. From 2012 to 2013 he was an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers and since 2013 he has been the head coach at Rutgers. Jordan won an NBA Championship in 1982 and was an NBA All-Star Game head coach in 2007. He is also featured on the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of Potomac.
