Eddie Collins was an American professional baseball player, manager, and executive who had a net worth of $500 thousand. Eddie Collins was born in Millerton, New York in May 1887 and passed away in March 1951. He was a second baseman who batted left and threw right handed.

Collins made his Major League Baseball debut for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1906 and played there until 1914. He played or the Chicago White Sox from 1915 to 1926 and returned to the Athletics from 1927 to 1930. From 1924 to 1926 he also managed the White Sox. During his career Collins won four World Series Championships and was the American League MVP in 1914. He was also a four time AL stolen base leader. Collins was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1939 on the fourth ballot. Eddie Collins passed away on March 25, 1951 at 63 years old.
