Doug Marrone is an American professional football coach and former professional football player who has a net worth of $8 million. Doug Marrone was born in the Bronx, New York in July 1964. He was a letterman at Syracuse University as an offensive lineman.

Marrone played for the Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints of the NFL and the London Monarchs of the World League. He started coaching in 1992 as tight ends coach for Cortland State. Marrone worked as an offensive line coach at Coast Guard in 1993 and Northeastern in 1994. At Georgia Tech he was a tight ends coach in 1996 and an offensive line coach from 1997 to 1999. He was offensive line coach at Georgia in 2000 and tight ends and offensive tackles coach at Tennessee in 2001. Marrone joined the NFL’s New York jets as offensive line coach from 2002 to 2005. He served as offensive coordinator with the New Orleans Saints from 2006 to 2008. He got his first head coaching job at Syracuse from 2009 to 2012 before getting his first NFL head coaching job with the Buffalo Bills in 2013.
