Dottie Rambo wrote more than 2,500 songs during her career. She received the ASCAP Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000. The Rambos formed in 1964 and were active until 1979. They were considered to be one of the most successful Gospel trios of all time and were inducted into the Gospel Music Association’s Hall of Fame. Dottie Rambo also released several solo albums and some of her most notable songs she wrote include “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need”, “I Go To the Rock”, and “We Shall Behold Him”.
