Don Gummer is an American sculptor who has a net worth of $150 million. Though it should be noted that the vast majority of his net worth is attributed to his wife of many years, actress Meryl Streep. As a sculptor, Don Gummer has earned praise for his work with table top and wall-mounted pieces, as well as his large free-standing works, often in bronze. Don was born on December 12, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky. He grew up in Indiana where he attended Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis and later the Herron School of Art. He was also educated at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts from 1966-1970. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Yale School of Art as well as his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) where he studied with American abstract artist and sculptor David von Schlegell. Since his first solo showing in 1973 his works have been featured at more than two dozen solo shows at museums and galleries around the East Coast and Midwest, in addition his work has also been exhibited in group shows. Don has been married to actress Meryl Streep since 1978 they have four children. Don and Meryl have been very active philanthropists. Some of their donations include arts organizations and educational institutions, including Vassar College, Opus School in Harlem, and the Silver Mountain Arts Foundation.

Finally, they also own a 90-acre country home in Salisbury, Connecticut.
