Derek Nash is a British jazz saxophonist, band leader, and recording engineer who has a net worth of $4 million. Derek Nash was born in Stockport, Manchester, England in July 1961. He has led the band Sax Appeal for more than 40 years. Nash also leads the Derek Nash acoustic quartet and the band Protect the Beat as well as the Latin band PICANTE.  He also joined the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra in 2004.

Over the years Derek Nash has performed with several artists including David Sanborn, Dick Morrissey, John Dankworth, Spike Robinson, Paul McCartney, Humphrey Lyttleton, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, Roger Daltrey, Tom Jones, Charlie Watts, India Arie, and many others. Nash became a sound engineer at the BBC in 1982 and started his Clowns Pocket Recording Studio in 2002. Derek Nash won Best Jazz CD of the Year in 2002 for Young Lions, Old Tigers with Spike Robinson and in 2012 for Joyriding with the Derek Nash Acoustic Quartet.
