David Schramm is an American television, stage and film actor who has a net worth of $2 million. A barrel-chested and mustachioed actor, he left a mark in Hollywood by portraying both small and big screen characters with an equal zest. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on 14th August, he majored in English at the Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.

Thanks to his devotion and talent, he was awarded a four-year graduate scholarship in New York by Julliard’s drama school where he got interested in theater. In the summer of 1988 he finally got a role that would put him on the map. It was after he co-starred with Rebecca De Mornay in the play “Born Yesterday” in California that he caught the Hollywood’s eye. Next, he went on to act in the play “The Three Opera”, portraying J.J Peachman and 1982 he starred in John Houseman’s revival of “The Cradle Will Rock” as Mr. Mister. His fame made him a guest-star on numerous television series like “Wiseguy” in 1987 ,”Jake and the Fatman” in 1987 , “The Equalizer” in 1985 ,”Miami Vice” in 1984 and “Spencer : For Hire ” in 1985 . He has also had leading roles in “The Time of Your Life” in 1976 and a musical in 1999 called “Cradle Will Rock”, both being PBS productions. Furthermore, he provided his voice for one of the leading characters in the 1998 Disney animated series Hercules. But guided by his passion and love for theater he now works for the West Virginia theater. Schramm suffered from vocal problems in 2015 and had to withdraw from his theater role.
