David Hayter is a Canadian-American actor and screenwriter who has a net worth of $13 million dollars. David Hayter was born in Santa Monica, California in February 1969. At the age of nine he started acting. He graduated from the Canadian Academy in Japan and then studied at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.

At the age of 20 Hayter moved to Hollywood. He got involved in voice acting and voiced Captain America in the Spider-Man animated series in the mid-90s. He provided the voice of the characters Solid Snake and Big Boss in the video game series Metal Gear Solid. Hayter wrote the screenplay for the X-Men movie and co-wrote the sequel X2. He has directed the films Chasm and Wolves and also wrote for The Scorpion King, Watchmen, Chasm and Wolves. Hayter will a director, producer, and writer for the upcoming 2015 mini-series World War III. He won a Saturn Award for Best Writing for X-Men in 2001.
