It was reported in January 2014 by Forbes that Macau Legend Development, led by David Chow, had plans to take advantage of the tripling of its share price since its IPO in 2013 and sell a 2.9% stake to help finance expansion and ongoing operations. Adding to its holding in Macau Legend through the transaction is Dynam Japan, a Japanese pachinko parlor operator that’s also listed in Hong Kong. Aside from serving as Macau Legend’s co-chairman and its CEO, he is also a former Macau legislator and still holds key posts in manifold Macau business groups. David Chow’s mother Lam Fong Ngo, who also holds a seat on Macau Legend’s board, has joined her son on the billionaire’s list.
