Dave Brockie was an Canadian-American rock musician who had a net worth of $50 thousand dollars. Dave Brockie was the lead singer of the shock rock metal band Gwar. He was perhaps better known by his stage name Oderus Urungus. Brockie was born on August 30, 1963 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

He died on March 23, 2014 in Richmond, Virginia. The cause of his death is not yet known, but Brockie was found sitting upright in a chair by a bandmate. During its more than 30 year career, Gwar released 12 studio albums, nine singles, two compilation albums and two live albums. Their 1988 debut album “Hell-O” was certified Gold in the US and double platinum in Germany. Several more albums were certified at least Gold. The band seemed to find a particular popularity in Germany, where their concerts were frequently sold out way in advance and their albums sold well consistently. Gwar was known for their shock-rock lyrics and wild stage shows that included the band members wearing elaborate costumes. The were nominated for two Grammys during their career, once for best long-form video in 1992 and a second time for best metal performance. Brockie started out as one of the band’s three guitarists. He then went on to play bass before becoming the Gwar’s official lead vocalist.
