Early Life: Baldwin was born on October 5, 1960 in Massapequa, New York. His father, Alexander Baldwin Jr., was a high school teacher and football coach while his mother, Carol, was the founder of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center of the University Hospital and Medical Center at Stony Brook. He was raised with his five siblings in a Catholic home. He has two sisters and three brothers – Alec, William, and Stephen. All of his brothers also pursued careers in acting.
