Clayton Kershaw was born in Dallas, Texas in March 1988. Clayton played in Little League Baseball and at Highland Park High School. He pitched an all-strikeout perfect game in high school. He pitched of USA Baseball’s Junior National Team and was the Gatorade National Player of the Year and USA Today’s High School Baseball Player of the Year.
Kershaw was drafted #7 by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2006 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut in May 2008 and has played for the Dodgers his entire career.
