Clark Howard is an American consumer advocate, radio show host and author who has a net worth of $15 million dollars. Born in 1955, Clark Howard earned his bachelor’s degree in urban government from American University in 1976 and his MBA from Central Michigan University a year later.

He opened his own travel agency and began giving out travel advice on the radio after he closed the business in 1987. He landed his own radio show before becoming WSB-TV’s consumer affairs reporter. Soon after, Howard developed the Consumer Action Center and in 1997, he created his own website. A year later, his show went into syndication. “The Clark Howard Show” airs daily across the nation and he appeared as co-host on HLN’s “Evening Express” in 2012 and 2013. He still works on WSB-TV, is a member of the Georgia State Defense Force and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. Howard has written a handful of books, including “Clark’s Big Book of Bargains” and “Get Clark Smart: The Ultimate Guide to Getting Rich From America’s Money-Saving Expert”. The former is a “New York Times” bestseller. Howard was diagnosed with a form of prostate cancer in 2008, and he is married to actress Lane Carlock.
