Christopher Chandler is a New Zealand-born businessman who has a net worth of $1 billion. Christopher Chandler, along with his brother Richard ran the Sovereign group of companies that invested in diverse industries including telecommunications, electric utilities, steel, oil and gas, banking and oil refining. Even though the company saw a great expansion worldwide across Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe; the siblings decided to end the partnership in 2007.
After splitting off from his brother, Christopher went on investing on his own in private multibillion-dollar investment firm Legatum that puts money into companies in developing countries, as well as the world’s capital markets.
